The new branches are at Atonsu, Kumasi in the Ashanti region and Kwashieman in the Greater Accra Region.
The company currently has branches at Dome, Makola, Avenor, Ofankor in the Greater Accra Region, Agona Swedru in the Central Region, and Kejetia, Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
The move, which forms part of the company’s overall objective to improve customers’ access to its products and services, is also intended to help encourage banking among the unbanked.
The Head of Operations, Mr Eric Antwi, said, “Both branches, which are located in prime commercial areas, will focus primarily on SME businesses”.
According to him, “Adehyeman being a major player in the banking industry hopes to leverage its experience in SME lending and offer customized savings and loans products to traders and businesses within the catchment areas.”
About the plans of the company, Mr. Antwi said, “Adehyeman plans to open five additional branches by the end of the year to expand its branch network”.
“One of our key business strategies is to provide premium banking services to our target market of which we have dedicated ourselves to over the years”, he added.
